# APTEN

> APTEN is an all-in-one research platform for psychologists, neuroscientists, social researchers, and lab teams. It unifies study design, data collection (online and in the lab), statistical analysis, and participant management in a single tool.

Born in a political psychology lab in Granada, Spain, APTEN replaces the fragmented research stack: Qualtrics + E-Prime + Calendly + SPSS + Excel.

Conduct in-depth interviews with participants in real time. Automatic transcription, session recording, and integrated response system.

Microsecond timing engine based on Windows ETW kernel tracing. Bland-Altman: mean bias 0.36ms, SD 4µs (N=1,000 trials). Validated against oscilloscope and hardware photodiode. No additional specialized hardware required. Open source.
